DVS heating cable covered with a protective layer of inert polyolefin, which protects the cable from mechanical damage and long-term environmental exposure, therefore the DVS cable is characterized by durability. This cable is installed on the outer side of the pipe, in the lower part along the entire length of the pipe. It is attached with aluminum insulating tape, and the pipe itself must be additionally wrapped with 5 cm thick rock wool to ensure effective operation of the cable.

The power of the DVS heating cable varies depending on the ambient temperature, so a thermostat is not required to control such a cable. The cable is installed with a three-core connection cable and plug and is plugged directly into an electrical outlet. The open end of the cable must be insulated with special thermal insulation, which you can purchase in our online store. The self-regulating pipe heating cable is cuttable, so you can purchase the required length of heating element.

Everything is determined by the diameter of the pipe and whether the cable will run outside or inside the pipe. Up to 32 mm, 11 W/m of power is sufficient, from 32 mm you need 17 W/m, and from 50 mm the cable is laid in two strips, so the footage will be doubled. To avoid having to calculate it yourself, answer four questions and our calculator will select self-regulating heating cable for pipes along with the exact footage and all accessories.
