The smart WIFI controller is designed for those cases when you want to control curtains or blinds with a physical wall switch. The controller is installed in a mounting box behind the impulse switch: by pressing the button, the curtain opens or closes, and by pressing it again during movement, it stops. At the same time, the controller connects to the home Wi-Fi network, so the same curtain can also be controlled by phone, voice or according to a schedule.
This solution is convenient when you want the switch in a familiar place by the door or bed - so that anyone can control the curtains without using a phone.
When is this controller needed?
- when you want to add a wall impulse switch in a mounting box to curtains or roller blinds;
- when controlling roller blinds, internal or external blinds, awnings;
- when you need to control a 230 V motor with separate "up" and "down" wires from one location.
Is it needed for our electric cornices?

This controller is only useful if you want to additionally connect a wall-mounted impulse switch to the curtain rod - for example, when guests or children also need to conveniently control the curtains.
1 and 2 channel versions
The 1-channel version controls one motor, with a load of up to 3 A (approx. 690 W at 230 V). The power of a typical curtain motor is 30-150 W, so the load reserve remains large.
The 2-channel version controls two separate motors from one location, 3 A per channel. Useful when there is both a curtain and a roller blind on the same window, or when you want to control two adjacent windows from one switch.
Management methods
- A wall-mounted impulse switch is the main purpose of this controller. One press moves the curtain all the way down, a second press stops it during movement.
- On your phone – the Smart Life or Tuya Smart app (iOS and Android). The same app that controls our other smart devices, so everything stays in one place.
- Balsu – „Google Home” ir „Amazon Alexa”.
- Scheduled – you can set the curtains to open in the morning and close automatically in the evening.
The app and wall switch commands work in parallel - the last one is valid. If the internet connection is lost, the wall switch continues to work, and when the connection is restored, the controller connects to the network itself.
Installation
The controller dimensions are 39.2 x 39.2 x 18 mm, so it fits into a standard mounting box behind the switch or near the motor. It is connected according to the diagram: L and N – meals, L1 / L2 – directions of engine movement, S1 / S2 – wall-mounted pulse switch. If the motor moves in the opposite direction than expected, the direction can be reversed in the app – no need to switch wires.
A conventional impulse (bell-type, non-latching) two-button switch – “up” and “down” – is suitable for the switch.
