You have probably noticed that in winter it is very unpleasant to walk on cold tiles, and as soon as you get out of the shower, you feel great discomfort standing barefoot. Underfloor heating in the bathroom would definitely be a big advantage in this case, because let's be honest, the bathroom becomes the coldest room of all in winter. Then, subtract the total area of the furniture from the area of the room and you will get the square footage of the free area.

For example: The bathroom in our photo has an area of 7.6 m². The shower, bathtub and toilet occupy a total of 1.8 m².

So, 6.8 m² - 1.7 m² = 5.1 m². Rounding up, we will need a rug measuring 5 m².

A few small tips:

• When choosing a heating mat, always round down the required heating area.

• The distance from the heating mat to the wall must be at least 100mm.

Installation of underfloor heating mat
