Wiring harness 2 x 1,5 mm²

Electrical installation cable 2 x 1.5 mm² – a two-core PVC insulated cable, which is used to connect infrared (carbon fiber) heating film strips to each other and to connect them to the thermostat. The cable has a red and blue sheath, cross-section 1.5 mm², rated voltage 450/750 V, therefore it works reliably even in higher power systems.

What is this cable used for?

The cable is required when installing any infrared film we sell:

• Infrared heating film 80 W/m² – for additional heating or class A houses;
• Infrared heating film 150 W/m² – for the main heating system;
• PTC Infrared film 220 W/m² – for intensive heating in colder rooms.

After installation, the wire is connected to the thermostat, which controls the film's on and off.

How to connect correctly

The cable is attached to the film tape with clampswhich are clamped with special pliers (with ordinary pliers you will not squeeze the terminal enough to prevent sparking). After connection, the terminals and wire ends must be insulated butyl insulating tape – this protects against moisture and ensures a long-lasting connection.
