Šiame projekte elektrinis grindų šildymas buvo įrengtas pasirenkant infraraudonųjų spindulių plėvelę. Darbų trukmė buvo itin trumpa ir truko vos dvejas valandas. Atlikus visus montavimo darbus, elektrinis grindų šildymas buvo pilnai paruoštas naudoti. Prieš grindų dangos montavimą, šiuo atveju laminatą, jokių papildomų darbų atlikti nebereikėjo.

Floor preparation

Before laying the special underlay Pro Expert Mat 55, the concrete base had to be thoroughly cleaned of putty residues and other various impurities that make the floor uneven. After the floor is thoroughly vacuumed and cleaned, the installation of the Pro Expert Mat 55 underlay begins, which is designed to isolate the heat radiating from the infrared (carbon fiber) heating film into the concrete base.

We make sure to lay the Pro Expert Mat 55 underlay over the entire floor area, not just in the areas where the infrared (carbon fiber) underfloor heating film will be installed. This way we maintain the same floor height throughout the room, which will make laying the flooring easier and of higher quality. After laying the underlay over the entire floor area, all sheets are reinforced with adhesive tape.

Installation of infrared film

After preparing the thermal insulation layer, we mark the places where the infrared film will not be installed. Most often, such places are under full-base furniture (wardrobe, kitchen furniture set, bed, etc.). By the way, infrared (carbon fiber) heating film can only be installed under furniture that has at least a 3 cm gap from the floor covering to the bottom of the furniture. This tiny gap is needed for heat to dissipate.

In the heated area, infrared film strips are stretched (optionally 50 or 100 cm wide). All of the aforementioned strips are connected to each other with wires according to the provided diagrams and instructions. (see product description), and the terminals are well sealed using butyl insulating tape. When all the wiring and terminal connections and sealing work are completed, the power and resistance of the heating system are checked with a multimeter.

After making sure that all the connections have been made properly, this electric underfloor heating is ready to be used under laminate.

Infrared film has a very low installation cost. Since the installation of underfloor heating film itself is simple and takes only a few hours, many customers choose to install carbon fiber heating film themselves, following carefully and detailed instructions.
