Electric underfloor heating, installation and price in a 2-story house

Our team has completed another project, this time installing underfloor heating in our own house in Pakuodžiupiai village, Panevėžys district.

A homeowner who contacted us said that he had recently bought a two-storey house with only a solid fuel stove for space heating. He also said that he wanted to install underfloor water heating in his house, but that the ground floor was already concreted and the first floor had a wooden slab, which would have made it very problematic and expensive to achieve these goals. However, after finding information on the internet about our team for infrared underfloor heating installation, he realised that it would be very convenient to install this system. In autumn, there will be no need to worry about solid fuel stocks and in winter, there will be no need to spend time keeping the room warm.

Work started on the second floor. The client specified all the locations where the wardrobes would be installed and where the king-size bed would be, so the choice was made not to install heating film under all the furniture. We laid Konstruktor 48mm underlay on top of the OSB wooden flooring. As mentioned above, we did not install the heating foil where the furniture will be placed.

The client wanted a simplified control system in their new home, so that they didn't have to adjust the temperature frequently on their own. Therefore, in this case, he chose smart thermostats, with functions that allow heating to be programmed according to the time the family is at home. It was also very important to be able to turn the heating completely off or on when at work, so being able to control the thermostat via a smartphone app will be very useful.

So, after the work was done, we calculated that we covered 54 square metres of the total floor area with infrared film. We also installed three control loops. All the work was done in a full working day. All the client had to do was to install the parquet flooring on top of the heating film and start bringing the furniture into their new home.
