DEVINERA electric underfloor heating cables can be installed directly on concrete floors or in the subfloor and tile adhesive layer itself. With a thickness of only 3.6 mm, the underfloor heating cable can also be used in renovation projects where floor height is a key consideration. The cable has an additional wire built inside, which makes it very easy to stretch the heating element around any fixed furniture or objects. It is thanks to the additional wire that the underfloor heating cable does not start to undulate and return to its original position.
Which length to choose?
The electric underfloor heating cable and its length are selected based on the required amount of heat (W/m²). For standard rooms (bathroom, hallway, living room, bedrooms), the optimal gap between the cable strands is 12 cm. To find out the required length of the underfloor heating cable, you need to divide the total area of the room by the gap between the cable strands. The result is the required length of the heating cable. We find the most suitable cable length for ourselves in the options provided for the product.
For example: The glazed terrace has a total floor area of 14.6 m². The gap between the cable strands is 0,12 m. Then we divide 14,6 by 0,12 and round up to 122 metres of heating cable.
