Modular house in Anykščiai
In the customer's modular house, electrically heated floors were chosen for the main heating: infrared film for the bedroom and living room, and for the bathroom – electric floor heating mat.
Solution
Recently, small-sized modular houses (up to 55 m²) have become very popular in Lithuania. Due to the lack of space in such premises, it is not advisable to install various heating systems that take up a lot of space. The most convenient way is electric heated floors. Rugs and carbon fiber infrared film do not reduce the interior of the premises and do not “pollute” the interior with additional devices.
Infrared film was chosen to be installed only in the bedroom and the main room (the living room is connected to the kitchen) because the client decided to install parquet boards. Carbon fiber heating film is most suitable under floating floor coverings: parquet boards, laminate, vinyl flooring.
Since carbon fiber infrared film has difficulty bonding with tile adhesive, in this case we decided to install an electric underfloor heating mat in the bathroom.
Materials used to implement the project

Brief project description
For the main heating system of the house, we chose infrared film, which was installed under the parquet boards. Under the tiles, we used electric floor heating mat. The building will not be heated every day during the cold season, it will only be visited occasionally, so the client chose thermostats controlled remotely via smartphone. Since during the winter, the most discomfort in poorly heated premises is caused by cold floors and the time it takes for the room to warm up after arrival, the client will be able to turn on the heated floors before arriving at their home and fully warm up the rooms before their arrival.
